About Me

My history with Magic: the Gathering is a deep one. From the days of having 80 card decks, playing COP (Circle of Protection) cards and attacking with 6 Craw Wurm’s (yes 6, we didn’t know what deck building was back then), I have a long storied history with the game. I didn’t come by it on my own, I was introduced by friends who, at the time, had many boxes of these cardboard rectangles.

Today, I consider myself a Modern specialist who is known in my circle for my detailed research and hard work over the last 2 years to refine my game. Although I have been playing magic for a long time, competitively speaking, I am a very young 2 years in. I generally will play anything aggro or combo related. But every now and again you’ll see me jam out to some control.

Although I have yet to have any major accolades, in 2019 I have started to turn 5-3’s into real results and have really started to emerge like the Distended Mindbender that I always wanted to be.
